HSD assisted Globalstar in the design of the next generation SPOT Satellite GPS. Designed for rugged use, where cell phones wont work, this emergency communications device is 20% smaller and lighter than the previous device.
Siemens introduces the redesigned Vantage Analyzer. Simple, convenient testing is enabled by an intuitive color touch screen display. The operator loads the test cartridge which includes the patient sample onto the system and walks away. The system automatically performs the test procedure, stores the patient results and displays, prints and/or uploads patient results to the LIS/HIS
The analyzer leverages robust technology and delivers the proven performance of the DCA HbA1c and DCA Microalbumin/Creatinine tests highlighted in over 100 clinical articles. 2008 Consumer Electronic Association Innovations Design & Engineering Award
The SPOT™ Satellite Messenger has a has been awarded the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA®) 2008 Innovations Design and Engineering Award. The award, judged and selected annually by a panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and journalists, was given to SPOT in the category of Personal Electronics.
2008 Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award
The Wall Street Journal recently announced that SPOT Satellite Messenger has received the prestigious 2008 Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation Award in the Consumer Electronics category. This marks the sixth industry award for SPOT since being introduced in November of 2007.
