Similar to the original SPOT tracking devices, Trace sends messages to communication satellites. The messages are delivered to your phone or computer, allowing you to monitor your asset and track its GPS coordinates in near real-time via Google Maps™.
The design is compact, clean and discreet allowing the user to mount the Trace virtually anywhere and blend in seamlessly with its surroundings. HSD is proud to have collaborated with the SPOT team on multiple programs throughout the past 5 years.
HSD had its first annual sailing outing on the Hudson River. Leaving from Liberty Landing the staff enjoyed spectacular views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. BioNano Genomic’s Irys Platform has been selected as the Bronze winner in the In vitro diagnostic category of the 2013 Medical Design Excellence Awards competition. HSD and Sparton Medical collaborated with BioNano Genomics to design the Irys Instrument and Chip. The Irys Platform is an automated high-resolution single-molecule imager to analyze linearized single DNA molecules in IrysChip nanochannel arrays. The system allows the study of unique aspects of genomes that cannot currently be detected by other methods.
