HSD assisted in the design of the Versant 440 for Siemens. The Versant 440 bDNA is a clinical laboratory IVD bench-top Instrument. The instrument design allowed for greater automation throughout the process and reduced hands on labor by 40% while also enabling simultaneous HIV and HCV assay capability. The Versant 440’s streamlined workflow through integrated technology and automation is essential in increasing the productivity of the clinical laboratory.
