HS Design developed the Definer 1020 while working to retain the same brand image of the BIOS Defender, an advanced gas flow measurement device. The Definer was designed to create a high value perception, utilizing the same UI and visual indicators to develop a common look and feel across Bios’ product line. Special attention was given to creating an intuitive design housed in a compact device, in order to stand out from comparable devices. Bios’ technology combined with a high value aesthetic enabled the Definer 1020 to outperform competitors.
