HS Design collaborated with GlobalStar and Axxon Technologies to bring SPOT to the market as a personal GPS and satellite device that sends call messages with the push of a button. The minimal interface consists of four alert functions: (1) 911 (life-threatening); (2) Help (non-life threatening); (3) Check-in (message to predefine contacts); and (4) Progress Tracking (saved to Google Maps).
