HS Design is very proud to have won a Silver award in the Social Impact category for Sympfiny® at this year’s IDSA International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). HSD created Sympfiny® out of a competition for the dosing of oral delivery of multi-particulate, dry powder and microsphere drug formulations for low-resource settings. Michael Quinn and Brian Pughe of HSD were on hand to accept the award at the International Design ceremony in Chicago. HSD worked in partnership with Röchling Medical to commercialize the design and is now marketing the system for pharmaceutical companies interested in pediatric multi-particulate drug delivery.
