During a December evening of glitz, glamour, and celebration, the Barry Knapp Award for Product Innovation of the Year, supported by Medical Aesthetic Group, was presented to Bellus for our SkinPen® Precision microneedling device.
The Medical Aesthetics Group presented awards for products launched in the U.K. that showcase genuine innovation or product advancement leading to treatment for new indications, quicker or easier treatments, better treatment outcomes, enhanced patient safety — all backed up by sound evidence.
The U.K. award follows Bellus’ recent personal best of eight Aesthetics Everything Award wins and SkinPen’s U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance. After a rigorous evaluation process to meet more than 90 validated requirements for the microneedling device, charger base, and proprietary cartridge, these awards confirm that SkinPen has set a new standard as the premier FDA-cleared microneedling device.
