Smartfil™ is a power-assisted dermal filler delivery system. The Smartfil™ is the first in a new product category of power-assisted injection systems that provides precise control and smooth injection flow of dermal fillers. As a result, doctors reported less fatigue and overall improved quality of correction when using the Smartfil™ system. Additionally, patients noted less pain and bruising with this system as compared to manual injections.

HS Design was involved with the system architecture and selection of components. The CO2 cylinders are designed to allow easy replacement during in-office procedures. Doctor and user evaluations influenced ergonomic and aesthetic considerations via several rounds of prototype testing. Working in concert with Aesthetic Sciences and manufacturing partners, HS Design was able to design and deliver a compact, visually unique and stable platform that was injection molding ready in just four months.
